Lachenal New Model 56 key English concertina.  This is an extended treble with extra high notes.  Raised metal ends, metal buttons, five fold bellows fully rebound, tuned to concert pitch and with new pads and valves.  Plays with the usual loud fast response of metal ended Lachenal New Model concertinas.  Serial number 31265 which would date it to around 1890.
