Lachenal New Model 48 key treble English concertina, with steel reeds, raised ebony ends, silver tipped nickel buttons.  Lachenal introduced the New model on the 1890s, so its a while since it was really new, but it introduced better construction, and was the first Lachenal model with raised ends, it was Lachenal's top model until the 12 sided Edeophone was introduced.  The Ebony ended model has a sweet and well modulated voice, more rounded in sound than its metal ended stablemate.  Serial number 41493 dating to around 1905.

This one is waiting for some overhaul work, but a serious expression of interest will bring it to the front of my work queue.
